Free Will Writing
Our ground breaking Free Will Writing Initiative is launched for staff at NHS, Local Government, Fire Service and Education, initially rolled out across 5 midlands based trusts and 10 local authorities the initiative proves a success with over 1,000 applicants.

Merged with OpenLife to provide Financial Services
OpenLife Limited was brought into the DM Group as Dunham McCarthy Financial Services, bringing a team of 12 Mortgage, protection and financial advisors. This new financial services team is tasked with providing market leading insurance and protection advice to clients as part of the estate planning process.

New Head Office
Head office is moved to Barn 1 Dunston Business Village to allow for ten new starters and with them the expansion of the Free Will Writing Initiative.

HPT+, APT, SEAPT Launched
Building on the success of the Home Protection Trust and following changes in legislation, the Home Protection Trust Plus, revised Asset Protection Trust (and Settlor Exempt Asset Protection Trust) are launched by Head of Estate Planning Ursula Minshall.

Following the announcement of a consultation into the Will Writing Act of 1837 (they may lead to cloud based will documents) a team of software developers and legal experts is formed to create the UK’s easiest online will writing platform. Today, Mylastwill.co.uk helps over 500 people per month create their Will online.
